Flavour notes of hazelnut, chocolate and the sweetness of caramel makes this the perfect coffee enjoyed black or with milk for a softer finish. 

Our Colombia partner. Cedro Alto, a coffee farmer collective has co-ordinated and incentivized this small group of coffee farmers to carry out extended in-cherry and aerobic fermentation in order to create a balanced profile of brown sugar, orange and a medium citric acidity.

Our Brazil partner. The Vilela family work in harmony with nature growing their coffee among springs and waterfalls. The natural coffees are delivered to the patio directly after sorting where they lay in the sun for 12 days to reach the target humidity of 12%.

Located in the Serra da Mantiqueira region, in the municipality of Campanha - Minas Gerais you’ll find Fazenda Aparecida. The coffee produced here stands out for its high quality and unique flavour. Having planted their first plot in 2006 with cultivars of Acaiá and Catucai Amarelo the farm has seen great progress and is producing high quality lots

Fazenda Aparecida

A classic brazilian flavour profile, with rich chocolate, macadamia nuts and a smooth caramel like finish. 

Brothers Márcio Custódio and Izonel Junior worked as coffee pickers as children before dedicating themselves to their studies, graduating, becoming professors and creating their own Center of Technology School called CETEC to provide education for young people from unwealthy households. After 10 years and training 5000+ students they returned to their childhood dream and bought a small farm to start growing speciality coffee. Unfortunately Izonel passed away shortly after the purchase but Marcio farms the land with Izonel’s son, and they have since named it Cetec in honour of his brother.

Fazenda Cetec

The decaffeination process happens at La Serrania where they use ethyl acetate derived 100% from sugar cane mixed with mountain water, together removing 99.7% of the caffeine present. This is not your average decaf!

This coffee is grown along an isolated set of mountains within the central cordillera of the Andes that go through Pitalito, Acevedo, Palestina, Timaná, and Suaza. This coffee represents the work of more than 50 producers who are committed to quality and excellence. La Serrania is carefully hand-sorted and processed at each individual farm, with special attention paid to the drying process to ensure consistency, uniformity, and a clean cup profile. La Serrania is one of the only coffees in the world to be decaffeinated in its country of origin, using local by-products. 

Decaf La Serrania

A delicious blend of Brazil and Colombia, this coffee is an omniroast so works great brewed as filter where you can taste flavour notes of hazelnuts and milk chocolate. A medium roast the flavours can cut through milk for a rich and caramel taste.

Love Coffee

Grown by smallholder farmers in the Planadas region of Colombia is a new addition to our Partnership Collection. We are working with AGPROCEM (Asociatión De Agricultores y Productores de Café Especial de Montalvo) who's mission to help smallholder farmers consolidate and market their speciality coffee and we're excited to be supporting them.

This coffee is named after the Bombe Mountains which is where the coffee producers who grew and delivered this beautiful coffee. The dry fermentation process is a variation on the traditional process, find out more in our latest blog.

With a family tradition since 1950 and passing through 4 generations, Sitio Tajo, located in the city of Cambuquira / Minas Gerais, is the result of a long history of dedication and respect for coffee cherries. Among the varieties of coffee grown on the farm are Catuaí, Mundo Novo, Acaiá, Yellow Bourbon, Red Bourbon and Arara. Besides coffee, they also grow Avocado, lychee, soy and Atemoia.

An extremely sweet cup of coffee.

Another stunning lot from Fidel Huancas. This natural is another example of how focusing on a mono-crop and improving upon existing quality can show results over time. This coffee is complex and exciting. On the nose you will experience a variety of floral notes while the cup offers an array of tropical and stone fruits, with mango and nectarine notes dominating the cup.

Fidel's second lot was awarded 4th place in the Cup of Excellence, the competition dedicated to finding the best lots in Peru and is part of our Iconic Collection.

A classic Kenyan profile with a jammy character with notes of blackcurrant and green apple.

The Slopes of 8 project groups eight farmers on neighbouring hills on the slopes of Mount Kenya in Kirinyaga county. The cherries from these eight farmers were processed at the facilities on their own land instead of at a central wet mill. Kenyacof bought the lot directly from them, bypassing the auction, so the return to the farmers would be larger. The small and medium estate sector in Kenya has, until now, been frequently overlooked. Especially when it comes to dry milling, small estate owners have found themselves unable to mill their parchment and maintain traceability, which lowers their overall returns and removes potential for name recognition and direct-trade relationship. They've also not received the agronomic support that they often need. 

Sucafina Kenya have helped change all this. Small to medium estate owners, such as the Slopes of 8 group, receive regular visits, access to agricultural inputs and advice regarding a wide range of practices - from pruning, to fertilization to erosion control. With this support, they improve agricultural practices, and thus yields and coffee quality. Kenyan coffees are classified by size. AA beans are the largest size. AA grade coffees are those that are 17/18.5 screen size, meaning that they are larger than 7.2 millimetres.

A round structured body, silky mouthfeel and a long lingering finish

Santa Barbara is a coffee region that represents some of the finest coffees in Central America. In particular, the Beneficio San Vincente mill has more first-place Cup of Excellence wins than any mill in the world. Roberto Sabillon having placed 6th himself in the past is no stranger to award winning coffees. His fully-washed coffees are a fantastic example of what can be achieved when a mill is supporting producers. Having raised drying beds has elevated his coffees and produced what we believe to be a class act – The Pacas. Pacas is a natural mutation of Bourbon one of the older varieties in coffee, first discovered by the Pacas family in El Salvador in the late 1940’s it yields great quality when cared for properly.

Roberto Sabillon

Extremely clean, complex with a fantastic interplay of different flavour profiles as the coffee cools. It’s unlike any other coffee we’ve tried, the profile reminds us of a Middle Eastern dessert.

This pink bourbon is one of two coffees grown by Diego Bermudez, a pink bourbon that's sweet and scores an impressive 90 points on the Q scale. Check out his second lot Diego Bermudez #2 which scores similarly highly, another filter, with flavour notes of raspberry skittles, peach haribo and strawberry candy.

Claudia Maria Carvalho Ribeiro Rezende's family has always been linked to coffee growing in the Três Corações region, in Minas Gerais. In 1998, when she acquired the farm, she named it Maria Celeste, in honour of her husband's grandmother. It’s our first year working with Claudia’s coffee, and this is a fantastic lot to start with. Boasting notes of peach yoghurt, raspberry and cherries the complexity found in this coffee is the reason we chose to work with Minasul. Year after year they’ve provided some of the best Brazilian coffee’s we’ve ever tasted and this one is a shining example of that.

A unique and exciting combination of flavours. A true representation of what our iconic collection is about, interesting, never tasted before flavour profile topped with multiple layers of complexity.

A unique special fermentation method used here which is not only time intensive but brings about a truly unique flavour profile. Ollie, our Head Roaster explains this in detail in a special blog here.

Fidel Huancas has reached the top 4 in the competition dedicated to finding the best lots in Peru. A 3rd generation farmer striving to improve his coffee, this lot shows the fantastic work being done in Peru.

The profile is stunning, it’s definitely a new flavour profile for us from Peru. A structured cup of coffee with complex citric acidity, a medium light body and a long lasting floral finish. Sweet, structured and layered. Lots like these don’t come around often so jump on it whilst stocks last!

Flavour notes of Blackcurrant, Rhubarb, Blood Orange makes this the perfect filtered coffee enjoyed black or with milk for a softer finish. 

This coffee is named after the Kibirigwi river only 50m away from the Kibirigwi Kiangai washing station which is where this delicate coffee has been created. 

The Kibirigwi Kiangai washing station was created in 1953, at the same time the group of farmers decided to establish the the Kibirigwi Farmers Coop Society.
At this point in time the Kibirigwi Coop is affiliated Kyrinyaga County Coop Union and operates eight factories all together.
