Flaunting the typical Yirgacheffe flavour profile and attributes, Aricha Washing Station is located only 8km from the centre of Yirgacheffe Town. A combined lot grown by farmers from Edido village, we enjoy the complex almost tropical qualities of coffees from Aricha bringing together floral sweetness and fruitiness, resulting in a distinctly juicy cup. Surrounded by smallholder farmers, many of whom own less than 1/2 hectare of land, and as little as 1/8 hectare on average, Aricha pays the farmers market price for the total weight of cherry they deliver. Because the harvests tend to be so small, everything is mixed and processed together to ensure a better and more consistent return on investment for the farmers.
