Located in Iriani, in the Nyeri County, the area lies at an altitude of 1,600masl on the fertile foothills of Mt. Kenya and Aberdare ranges slope, and is well known for the quality produced and commonly referred to as the home of Kenyan coffee.

Farmers deliver their coffee to the factory on the same day as harvesting for sorting and grading. Primary processing involves mechanical pulping of the cherry skins and then the remaining mucilage is removed through a fermentation process. The coffee beans are then dried on raised beds and turned continuously to protect it from hot temperatures and ensure even drying.
