We are delighted to offer you this decaffeinated coffee hailing from South America. These Peruvian beans are farmed in the mountainous north of the country, known for producing soon of the finest coffees in Peru, at high altitude creating an extremely high quality bean.

Farmed by the San Francisco Village Co-operative which consists of 50 small farmers from the village in the Huabal district of the Cajamarca region. 

The coffee is harvested by hand and sun dried on tarpaulins where it is tended by the individual farmer at his own house. This coffee is decaffeinated by the carbonated spring water process.

A decaffeinated roast consisting of a combination of caturra and catimor coffee beans lightly roasted to deliver a fruity, smooth acidity coffee.  The process of decaffeination takes place using carbonated spring water - whereby the caffeine clings to the walls of the carbon dioxide molecules. A non-chemical, natural process.
