The farm is located in Huila and sits on an altitude of 1750 masl, where it is growing 20000 trees among main varieties for Caturra, Castillo and Colombia. This is a micro-lot that only picks with the Caturra and Natural processed as an experimental coffee.

Hacienda La Papaya is owned and operated by Juan Pena, who is a former rose producer but relatively new to coffee. He started his experiment with coffee back in 2010 and became perhaps the most famous specialty producers in Ecuador. His coffees are the result of a meticulous integral process and won several Barista championships.
