João Hamilton and his partners grow top-quality coffee on their 10-hectare Serra do Cigano farm, while at the same time respecting nature. This includes farming without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides and reforesting areas around springs. 

The team have also made greater efforts to harvest only the ripest cherries and improve their drying techniques using raised beds, resulting in a better cup quality.  

We think their hard work is reflected in this full-bodied, rich yet smooth coffee with pronounced notes of roasted hazelnuts, almonds and caramel. Perfect for espresso and milk-based drinks.

Carrow Coffee Roasters

This single origin coffee is particularly interesting because it's made up of just one arabica variety - Tabi, a combination of timor hybrid, typica and bourbon. Victor Barrera grows about 4,500 tabi trees on his 3.5ha farm in southwestern Colombia. Coffee pickers frequently prefer harvesting tabi because the coffee cherry nodes are more spaced apart than other varieties. We find the flavour is also delicious and distinctive, with this lot displaying an abundance of tropical fruit in the cup. Roasted for filter.

El Tesoro

This certified organic coffee is bursting with zesty lemon & lime and delicate florals that create a complex and multilayered sensory experience. Cherries from the Wolisho and Kurume arabica varieties are hand picked by small-scale farmers in the semi-forest area of West Arsi in Southern Ethiopia. They are then depulped, soaked and washed with water before drying under the sun. We've given it a light roast for filter preparations so you can really experience the floral fruitiness of these amazing beans.

Nensebo

Expect notes of milk chocolate and malt from this smooth Colombian coffee, decaffeinated at origin using a non-chemical process. First the green coffee is soaked in baths of water with a natural solvent derived from sugar cane to remove the caffeine. Then the beans are steamed at low pressure to remove all traces of the solvent while preserving flavour. The result is a sweet and rich coffee, suitable for espresso and filter.
