If you'd asked me 2yrs ago to recommend a great coffee I'd have had no hesitation to recommend Union. As I've expanded my coffee palette and knowledge I totally agree with your review. There coffee is ok, it's inoffensive and not unpleasant it's always just a bit average and a bit boring. 

Ditto, but only one year into my journey. On a whim thought I’d try Union’s freshly roasted beans, however, will save my money in future.

Sounds delicious. Did it feel a bit too roasted due to being espresso and filter at the same time?

Not at all, it was smooth with not a hint bitterness. I’m new to the April, and am not sure I’d have had the same result with a V60!

That would be great - cool product from a great roaster. Perhaps they could have some guest Coffee's to accompany it.
