Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is one of the most sought after coffees in the world and it comes as no surprise. It manages to tick all the boxes without any gimmicks or theatrics and delivers a wonderful cup of coffee. Optimising everything we love about Island coffees but with subtle complexities that heighten it into specialty status. Expect classic milk chocolate and caramels, with an unmistakable rich butter body, that carries with it subtle floral notes, stone fruits and orange blossom.

This particular Jamaican Blue Mountain crop comes from the Blue Baron Estate. Owned by the Minott family, who have been growing and processing coffee for over 68 years. They produce only the highest quality Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee for. decades on their 67 acres. Blue Baron’s trees are harvested up to 20 times over the harvesting period, ensuring that only the very ripest cherries are harvested, then pulped and fermented with natural spring water. 

Only coffee grown in the legally defined Blue Mountain range in Jamaica can be certified as Blue Mountain Coffee. The area is favoured by the ultimate combination of the ideal altitude, mineral-rich soil, gentle cloud cover, mountain shade and ample sunlight.

Beans are then loaded into barrels made from Aspen wood and taken to the Jamaica Coffee Industry Board who will inspect them and label them as 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee beans ready for export to those licensed to purchase and distribute them.
