The Heute Blend is our everyday espresso, suitable to be enjoyed by everyone from the seasoned coffee professional to those seeking a cup of morning joe. The components of this blend change seasonally, allowing us to always use coffees that are fresh and taste good. While the coffees themselves may change, we aim to always keep the Heute Blend balanced, sweet and easy to use.

The Heute Blend currently contains three coffees from Brazil (75%), Colombia (20%) and Ethiopia (5%).

A coffee from Cafeina Women’s Group forms the backbone of the blend. Cafeina Women’s Group is located in Sul de Minas Brazil, and is a collective of over 1000 members. They formed in 2018 with the purpose of sharing knowledge and resources among female coffee growers. This coffee brings rich dark chocolate and nut flavours to the Heute, along with a heavy and syrupy mouthfeel.

The second component is an organic lot, produced by a cooperative in Tolima, Colombia. It tastes like caramel, malt and red apple and contributes structure and a balanced acidity.

Finally, we’ve included a small percentage of a very special coffee from East Guji in Ethiopia. The Koromii is a very floral coffee, a little bit of extra sparkle to your espresso.
