The country:
Most of the coffee produced in China is grown in Yunnan Province in western China. Coffee has been grown in Yunnan for over a century. The province has traditionally been famous for tea cultivation, but over the past three decades, many of the region's fertile hills have been replanted with coffee. 

The Story: 
Powered by a mother-daughter duo dedicated to protecting the environment and sharing economic benefits with their communities, there's so much to enjoy with this fully washed organic coffee from Yunnan. When Jane Luo and her husband started growing coffee at Yirong Farm in 1987, their coffee was among the first to be grown in Menglian prefecture, Yunnan, and now, more than 30 years later, their daughter, Jean Luo, is working together with her mother, Jane, to take the next step forward and expand their business into exports. Jane's partner, Song, is also involved in the management of Agronomy and Farm Operations. Yirong Farm has also emerged as a community leader in economic opportunities,
especially for minority nationalities, including Va, La Hu and Dai nationalities. Yirong Farm's focus on coffee production has stimulated numerous industries that have created great jobs, allowing many households to buy their own transportation and build homes for their families.
