Three Heart Coffee Roastery

This is our first directly traded coffee, and we couldn’t be happier to be in business with Mr. Al Lopez, the farm owner. Al is a fourth generation coffee farmer, having purchased the land from his parents in 2001. Al not only continues his ancestors tradition but gives back to his community in many ways. The farm is completely sustainable, providing housing, a fruit and vegetable farm, an apiary, a 400ft deep well, a wet processing center and emergency services for it’s 250+ workers. He’s a friendly guy to boot!

We look forward to expanding our relationship with Mr. Lopez and his family in the coming years. Expect to see other coffees on offer from him!

This very sweet honey process lot comes from my friend Leticia Lopez. She is a 5th generation coffee farmer and the daughter of Al Lopez who owns Finca Terrerito, our other Honduras coffee!

She has done a wonderful job in processing this coffee to preserve it’s clarity of flavor. Which is something often lacking in honey and dry process coffees!
