The Beautiful Bean is a small batch specialty coffee roaster based in Sweden.

We care about high quality coffee, but we also care about the people who produce, process and distribute it, as well as our world and environment. Therefore we strive after finding great coffee that is produced in an ethical and environmentally good way. We appreciate and would like to acknowledge the tremendous amount of work done by a large number of people before the green coffee goes into our roaster. We are just adding the finishing touches to the beautiful bean so many others took time, focus and energy producing, processing and distributing it.

We try to do as good a job as we can with this precious bean when we roast it, so that you can enjoy and appreciate the results of this amazing journey.
It is important to us to have a positive social impact, to be open, to share knowledge and experience and to make high quality coffee accessible to customers in a warm and welcoming manner.

We started out in early 2016 by roasting and selling the same blend that Michel used to win the Silver medal at the Swedish Specialty Coffee Roasting championships. Since then, we have roasted several other coffees and currently, there are coffees from Kenya, Nicaragua and Thailand available.

We have done small events like tastings as well as larger ones like putting on showings of "The Coffee Man" documentary in Uppsala and Stockholm.
We are looking forward to what the future may hold.
