Nelson Fabio Cordoba lives with his parents and maintains their coffee farm which sits at 1,820 meters above sea level where he cultivates Tabi and other varieties.

This is the first of two small single varietal microlots which jumped out to us whilst cupping.  

The Tabi varietal, released in 2002  as part of Colombia’s efforts to combat leaf rust is a hybrid of bourbon, typica and timor. 

The name Tabi means “good” in the Guambiano (a native Colombian tribe) dialect

This coffee works well black and also with milk.

Suitable for / Cafetiere, Filter, Aeropress and Espresso.
