A tasty delight, we're thrilled to welcome La Llamarada to the shop! Elegant yet easy-going La Llamarada - like soft sunlight shimmering through leafy green trees - slows down time. Coming to us from Nueva Segovia, Dipilto, Nicaragua - similar to San Ramon - La Llamarada is the result of a close collaboration between our import partners, Caravela, and coffee growers in the region. Focusing on improving and experimenting with processing practices, from plantation management to harvesting and fermentation times for the growers to gain more insight into what works best on their farm, the project has seen an exponential rise in cup quality. This, in return, has given the farmers access to higher market prices, therefore, allowing them to invest back into their farms and grow their livelihoods. Dreamy, with pear, fudge and milk chocolate notes, La Llamarada is a rising star.
