As a part of our seasonal Colombian offering, we've chosen a handful of coffees to highlight the flavour profiles of Colombia's coffee-producing regions. The best way to build up your taste library and pinpoint your preferences, we hope you enjoy the experience. The first coffee on our list is El Desvelado from Nariño. Located in the far south-west corner of Colombia bordering Ecuador, Nariño is remote with steep hillsides at altitudes of over 2200 masl. As a result, farmers tend to work on tiny farms, producing low volumes. Because of the altitude, coffees from Nariño tend to show characteristics of fruity, fresh and crisp, malic acids with common body descriptors including jam or juicy textures. Hitting the nail right on the head with its crisp acidity and juicy body, El Desvelado is an excellent showcase for the region.
