Pleasantly bright yet distinctly round, El Cipres' creamy texture and sweet finish make for a delightfully moreish brew mastered over generations. Located in the northern slopes of Picacho Volcano in the Bálsamo-Quezaltepec coffee region, El Cipres was founded in 1880. When Dr Emilio Alvarez Lalinde and his family migrated to El Salvador from Colombia in 1880, they bought with them their long-standing coffee-producing traditions and knowledge. In 1992 the Estate was taken over by Alvares Gallardo and his family who have since added their own remarkable stamp. RFA certified the family focus heavily on the environmental and social impact of the Estate. An exceptional lot, the rich history of coffee cultivation transcends the cup making El Cipres a must-taste. Perfectly balanced, clean and full of flavour and delight, expect a treat.
