Bringing all the creamy-chocolate-nut attributes is Piñas. Named after a village in Chontali located within northern Peru, the area’s cooler and drier microclimate combined with a unique tree variety contributes to its distinct cup profile. A tree with light-bronze tipped leaves found only in Chontali, this “mystery” variety grows tiny beans in clusters, similar to Bourbon.

Sparkly, fun, and fruity, typical of Burundi grown Bourbon, Rubirizi tastes like a mouthful of berries. Processing the coffee of 833 farmers who live in the surrounding area, Rubirizi Washing Station ploughs back into the community through various initiatives such as training programs.
