Team favourite and highly anticipated, Amaluza is back! As the first Ecuadorean coffee we purchased back in 2016, Amaluza holds a special place on our list. Filled to the brim with a delicious combination of fruit and nuts, this year's lot offers notes of delicate apricot and sweet fig rounded out by the creaminess of hazelnut. The collaborative work of 10 smallholders, Amaluza was founded by Fray Bartolomé Ruiz de las Casas and is produced in Espíndola, Loja, one of the most southern provinces of Ecuador. Apart from being a natural wonder famous as a wedding destination, Loja is regarded as the capital of Ecuadorean music and culture. Wonderfully sweet and creamy, we are proud to have Amaluza back for its fifth consecutive year. Like a ray of golden sunshine in a cup, Amaluza is here to brighten your everyday.
