A classic from Ethiopia.

Ours comes from the independent Daye Bensa cooperative, which sells its green coffee directly and supports the farmers' coffee growing.

We roast it medium, i.e. not too light and not too dark, and it is ideally suited for every type of preparation. As a filter coffee, the spicy, chocolatey and floral notes come to the fore, and prepared in the portafilter it becomes significantly more berry and lemony.

Definitely try without milk and not so hot.
