For more than 150 years, generations of the Junqueira family have dedicated themselves to coffee. As traditional coffee farmers in the south of the state of Minas Gerais, they have been dedicated to making the best coffees for the past 30 years. Excellent natural conditions, fertile land and the right selection of coffees, combined with a good training of the workers and state-of-the-art facilities in which carefully processed coffees are processed, are some of the factors that contribute to the high quality of Carmo Estate coffees. Commitment and attention to detail are some of the main concerns of the Junqueira family in order to be able to offer the best single-origin coffee varieties. In order to continuously improve processes and quality, Carmo Estate has joined the Brazilian Coffee Association and has started UTZ certification. On the basis of these certifications and the experience of the family, Carmo Estate coffees are produced according to strict standards in order to protect the environment and ensure a good quality of life for all workers involved in their production.
