A producer that respects the land and terroir of the coffee he produces, creating a coffee that is crisp, clean, vibrant and hugely refreshing. Testament to this, Buena Vista was repeatedly entered and also previously won our Colombia Cupping Competition, which began in 2016. Rewarding the incredible producers from the region and their exceptional, highly diverse coffees.

Buena Vista sits about 15 minutes from the small town of Gaitania on the border of the national park, Nevado del Huila. The tall forest trees at Buena Vista cover the coffee plants, creating an ecosystem that induces higher flavour development. As a result of the reduced photosynthesis, the climate of low light creates a higher level of sugars in the coffee cherry. This environment allows the fruit to grow evenly, resulting in larger and more consistent crop yields
