This coffee is from Huehuetenango, a community investing in sustainable sourcing to benefit a large group of producers

After the coffee leaf rust epidemic several years ago, Huehuetenango is still recovering, and the support of producers has been crucial to keeping family farms in operation. Coffee from the mountain communities around Huehuetenango is specifically selected for its fruity profile, which are pronounce in its flavour profile.

This coffee was decaffeinated using the chemical- free CO2 process. This process involves submerging the unroasted green coffee in warm pressurised water to open up the bean. Carbon molecules are then added to the water which attract and bind with the caffeine.
