There exists an eagerness in the villages of the Santa Barbara mountain range in Honduras; a willingness, motivation and ambition to produce the best coffee in the country. The farmers in this region are very small producers, but hardworking nonetheless with extreme pride in their product. But with such small yields, it’s difficult for these farmers to get their product in your cup, so blends are formed in order to create larger lots which are easier to sell and earn better prices. The blends are meticulously created to produce balanced cups with desirable flavor profiles. This particular blend was given the name, El Rincon del Sabor. We love this process as it allows us to support these small producers and offer something truly unique. In this case, the sum is greater than its parts.
