This coffee is directly bought from Worka Cooperative. FOB price of the green coffee is 6.72 $/kg and it scored 87.25. Farmers are Gedeo people, who produce some of the most prized Ethiopian coffees. It is part of their culture to preserve environment. To do so they combine their traditional ways with specialized agronomist advice. The coop belongs to YCFCU union that works as a marketing body for the primary co-ops facilitating loans for cherry collection and redistributing profit to its members. The union also invests in the community, building a school and bridges to link isolated areas.
