If we talk about high quality coffee in Honduras, we are talking about Marcala coffee, which has agro-ecological characteristics and a special cup flavor that are unrepeatable in the world. The prestige of Marcala coffee is based on a rich tradition of quality, based on naturally favorable conditions and the discipline of the human factor in production and processes practiced in the area since ancient times. This coffee is a mixture of typical varieties, bourbon, caturra, catuaí and produced in altitude (1700 m).

COMSA is a society of coffee producers in the Marcala Region, La Paz, Honduras, which aims to achieve economic, social and environmental objectives, as a strategy for the reduction of poverty and the promotion of sustainable development. It carries out its activities in coffee production using organic practices and procedures through a technological package that improves the farm's productivity and to ensure permanent income generation. It is promoting the diversification of production, considering the farm as an integral productive unit in which all members of the family participate in the production process.

Hola Coffee

Super delicate and complex coffee with very marked notes of jasmine, sweet orange and layers of pineapple, mango and vanilla. It has a good body, a silky touch and citric acidity.

This farm is located in a region of the Central Valley of Costa Rica called Santa Ana, its history begins in 1,800 when the farm was used to transport water to a mine closer to there and was well known by the neighbors as "Finca La Mina" .

The history of coffee for this family emerges in the 1960s when Don Eladio's father began to grow coffee with the most common varieties such as Typica and for the next few years Caturra and Catuaí. For many years the farm was managed by three brothers, but 10 years ago one of them decided to manage his own batch of the farm, this was due to different problems such as diseases, productivity and others. This producer is Don Eladio Morales.

For the last 10 years he is trying to improve cultivation methods, for example applying better fertilizers, disease controls and the most important renovation of coffee plantations with new varieties such as Geisha, San Isidro 48 (Sarchimor), Java, varieties Ethiopians, etc.
