Kijani Hai, “Living Green” in Swahili, is cultivated on the Ilela Coffee Plateau, this is an area of 40 Square kilometres that begins roughly 50 km from the town of Mbinga. Ilela has been a coffee region for the last 40 years. This newly formed cooperative enabled a small group of farmers to pool their resources, with a focus on creating infrastructure within the local coffee farming community and offering unified, high-quality coffee.

This coffee has notes of blackberries, dark chocolate, berries & biscuit, which can cut through milk for those espresso-based milk drinks, but has enough rich complexity to be really enjoyed as a filter.
