THE FARM
El Manzano is located at an altitude of 1300-1500 meters above sea level at the foot of the volcano Santa Ana. The owner is the legendary Emilio Lopez, a farmer of the sixth generation. Emil is a well-known experimenter and pioneer of selected coffee in El Salvador in the coffee world. In the coffee industry, its credo - quality, consistency and innovation - is very well known.

Today, El Manzano is one of several farms that Emílio owns and manages. 

Pacamara is a coffee variety that has beautiful beans and has the potential for excellent quality. The variety is sensitive to the coffee tree rust that decimated farms in Central America a few years ago. That's why we're glad Pacamara survived on Emilia's farm.
