Once translated, Terruño Nayarita means “from my land”. This coffee is cultivated by a group of small cooperatives located in the western part of Tepic, Nayarita close to the Cerro San Juan volcano.

This is one of the most northern coffee producing areas on the planet. Here, microclimate conditions and volcanic soil help to produce unique cupping profiles.

The Terruño is a natural processed coffee. Once ripe, cherries are picked and then laid out to dry naturally. Leaving the fruit of the cherries on the beans to dry in this way imparts stronger fruit flavours and plenty of sweetness. The coffee is milled, sorted and graded at the Duende Mill.

A delicious natural coffee, full of the flavours of summer. Terruño is well balanced with lots of body and a sticky sweet aroma of brulee sugar, cola and lime cordial which softens to strawberry yoghurt clotted cream and almond butter in milk.
