Very smooth and sweet, enjoyed a lot with capuchino on this beans. Espresso has citrus acidity, balanced enough. No clue the origin, might be something from Costa-Rica or Ethiopia

Super clean, floral coffee - reminding me of jasmin tea.

30/450, Octostorm, peak water filter (down to 80ppm) Citric acidity (lime), bergamot, light florals- short aftertaste, smoky finish. Probably it is better in espresso.

Reviewed this on a blind tasting using the clever dripper and felt that this roast was very average. However having now brewed it using the Kalita Wave and Melodrip I need to revise my review. I didn't get any of the exciting citrus fruit notes that I would have expected from an Ethiopian coffee when brewing with the Clever. However on changing to the Kalita the citrus notes I expected where present. The acidity was also more balanced. I'd still rate this as a very mild, balanced and drinkable coffee but brewed with some attention to detail rather than just more quickly in the clever allows it to shine β™‘

Pleasant brew - Didn't particularly excite or wow me - it was just a nice cup of coffee. As this was an Omni roast I brewed it with the Clever Dripper at my normal 15:1 recipe / steeped for 2 mins then drained. There's a nice aroma from the beans on opening the bag and on grinding. I would say slightly chocolate with a hint of soft fruit. Similar aroma during brewing. On tasting the Coffee had a subtle dark chocolate note with a subtle acidity. The acidity definitely lingered and you got a nice tingling and dryness on the edges of your tounge in the mouth feel. As I'm blind tasting this I'm guessing this is a lower grown Coffee bean possibly from South America. I'm basing this on the very light flavour notes.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Well I couldn't have been more wrong with that. I'm a big Ethiopian Coffee fan and that was not what I expected. I'm going to try the 2nd brew through the V60 to see whether it is more as expected 😜

Initial flavour tropical fruitiness to it. Almost like a can of soda or fizzy gummies.
