This coffee is produced in the heart of the Dipilto Mountains, near the border with Honduras. It is cultivated on sandy soil, at an altitude of between 1200 and 1700 meters above sea level. Coffee trees are produced under shade (70% with various essences), with soil and plant fertilization that respects the environment. 
 
This micro-lot is produced in 100% red caturra and undergoes a Honey treatment.

History of the Valladarez family: 
Luis Valladarez , founder of the farm, started his activity by buying a  small farm  called  Buenos Aires  before buying two other farms  La Laguna  and  El Suyatal . 
 
Initially, all its production was sold only in cherries until the construction, a few years ago, of its own  processing plant: Cafetalera Buenos Aires.  Its goal is to control as best as possible the  production  and export of these coffees. 
 
In 2004,  Luis Emilio's second son ,  Olman,  joined his father and brother to manage and administer the family's farms.
 
Becoming an  expert  in single-variety processes  and coffees,  in 2005 he began to present numerous Micros-Lots from his farms to the  Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence competition  , obtaining very good results.
