Arabica blend
Region: SAN IGNACIO - JAEN, CAJAMARCA

Several varieties of Arabica from small producers in the province of Cajamarca have been deliberately blended to form the profile of this cup.

The first part of the harvest comes from high altitude areas, it is then processed and dried directly on the producers' farms.

Most farmers in the north of the country have their own machine and fermenter where they process the coffee, before drying it on patios or raised beds. This lot is an Arabica blend picked in the middle of harvest and is named after the local term used to name the 'mocha' basket that growers use to collect cherries.

Our importer has been working in northern Peru for several years, purchasing specialty coffee from cooperatives and associations with whom we have built lasting relationships.
