Mansour Aba Kika farm extends over approximately 18ha at 2000m altitude. The main harvest takes place from Oct. to dec. exclusively by selective manual picking.

Mansour mainly cultivates 15ha and the rest with a mixture of heirloom. This batch was treated naturally on raised beds for a period of 15 to 24 days, depending on weather conditions. Once ready, the coffee is stored in the Kache mini-store and the primary grinding is done by Mohammed Shemsu in the town of Agaro. The 15ha were used as a reference by the JARC researchers, from a selection of the mother tree producing this variety, in 1974, in the village of Bishari (Metu province in Illuababorazone, western Ethiopia ). This variety has high yield potential thanks to a series of experiments, the selection was approved in 1979 as an improved variety for agroecology and is starting to be distributed to farmers in many parts of the country. Since its release, this strain has grown into one of the most famous and widely propagated in Ethiopia, known for its floral and citrus profile. Most of Ethiopia's coffees come from a specific cooperative, where many smallholders in this region deliver their cherries for processing.
