This coffee comes from 24 independent producers in the Huila region. The coffee is decaffeinated at a plant in Colombia, where they use a sugar cane byproduct for the process; as a result this decaf is like no other that you've tasted - it is really sweet and balanced, with none of the nasty flavours you often get with decaf.

El Yalcon DECAF

What started life as as training room in a Third Floor apartment has become a Dublin City hub for passionate baristas to showcase the coffees that inspire them most. In December 2009, 3FE opened its doors in the tiny lobby of the Twisted Pepper and (as of August 2011) a shiny, new stand-alone cafe and training centre on Lower Grand Canal Street. 3FE now roasts our very own coffees here in Dublin! We have recently buddied up with such fine establishments as Fallon & Byrne, Hollands of Bray, L. Mulliagan Grocer, Slice of Cake cafe, Staple Foods, Schon Coffee in Kilkenny, and Suas Coffee in Ennis. Additionally, the staff at 3FE work closely with Nuova Simonelli, Eureka, Marco, and Dairyland (their Inishowen cows are responsible for the lovely organic milk) to ensure there's always something new to learn. 3FE strives to continue to uphold the simplicity, quality, and service upon which the original, tiny lobby shop was founded. It's a little bit ridiculous how seriously we take your coffee but we promise it's lots of fun, too!
